PRWEB) December 20, 2007 -- Human Nature, the hottest vocal group in Australia, will kick off their American debut at the Tropicana Casino and Resort, January 6 through March 1, 2008. The engagement follows on the heels of their latest CD release, Get Ready, which features guest appearances by pop legends Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Martha Reeves and the Supreme's Mary Wilson.
Tropicana audiences will be the first in the U.S. to see Australian super-group in their tribute to the Motor City. The group's performances in the month of January also coincide with the founding of Motown's Tamla records by Berry Gordy on January 12, 1959, almost 50 years earlier.
Often compared to 'NSYNC or the Backstreet Boys, performing to adoring, sell-out arena audiences of all ages, Human Nature will perform songs from the CD, a Motown tribute that is the third installment in the group's record-breaking and ARIA award-winning series of Motor Town tribute CDs. Their first two tribute CDs have already sold more than 1.7 million units in Australia.Human Nature is backed up by seven live musicians and features costume changes and dance moves reminiscent of the Motown era, mixed with their own unique style of choreography.
Their show, entitled "How Sweet It Is," showcases the distinctive, dynamic harmonies of Toby Allen, Phil Burton, Andrew Tierney and Michael Tierney on Motown classics such as "Stop in the Name of Love," "Tears of a Clown," "Dancing in the Street" and "Heard it Through the Grapevine." Formed as a doo-wop band in 1989 in Sydney, Human Nature has had 17 Top 40 hits and five Top 10 hits in Australia since 1996. The band's albums have all gone multi-platinum in Australia, and have been successful on
international charts. Known for their outstanding concert and stage performances in Europe, Human Nature has opened for superstars Celine Dion and Michael Jackson.Adam Steck, CEO of SPI Entertainment and producer of the show, is responsible for bringing Human Nature to the United States.
Together with Daniel Mulhern Entertainment, Inc., the show makes its American debut at the Tropicana Casino and Resort. Steck says, "I was so impressed with the group when I saw them that my gut feeling was they had to perform in the country where Motown was born." Steck also produces the hit Las Vegas shows, "Thunder from Down Under," "Louie Anderson - Larger Than Life," Sylvia Browne and "The Ronn Lucas Show." For interviews and press opportunities contact Neil Cirucci at 609-513-1689.
For tickets and show times, call the Tropicana Box Office at 1-800-526-2935 or (609) 340-4020.

Not The Whitsundays, Australia, Part 2
The lush setting was quite a contrast to some of the red dirt sites where we stayed in the Australian Outback. In the background are big, tree covered hills, part of the Conway National Park, which surrounds the area. You come upon views of the Coral Sea and islands around almost every corner. Wildlife is plentiful, especially birds, from lorikeets and cockatoos, to curlews and kookaburras, even the odd bush turkey. There are plenty of bushwalking trails in the National Park ranging in length and difficulty.
